William H. Young
President & COO
William H. Young serves as President and COO and a member of
the Ownership group of Buford Dickson Harper & Sparrow, Inc.
He also serves as chairman
of the Investment Committee.
Bill brings over 33 years of investment management experience
to BDHS. He came to BDHS after a stellar career at A.G. Edwards & Sons,
Inc. where he was responsible for managing client assets and
the oversight and selection of independent money managers for
accounts totaling $10 billion.
Bill has applied his vast experience generously to the public
service sector serving as Treasurer of the Board of Police Commissioners
of the city of St. Louis, Treasurer of the St. Louis Zoo Friends
Association, President of Inroads - St. Louis, Chairman of the
Board for the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, and as
Trustee on the Executive Committee at Fontbonne College.
Bill earned a B.S. in Business Administration/Investments from
California State University at Long Beach. |

Reginald D. Dickson
Chairman
of the Board & Majority Owner
Reginald D. Dickson serves as Chairman of the Board and Majority
Owner of Buford, Dickson, Harper & Sparrow. He also serves
on the BDHS Investment Committee.
Reginald has 33 years of business to business experience having
served on various boards including the Board of Directors and
member of the audit committee of Dollar General Corporation,
board chairman at First American National Bank/AmSouth (now
Regions Bank) Community Development Corporation, and Board
of Directors for Heartland Bank.
Currently, Reginald serves on the board of Huntington Preferred
Capital, Inc.
Reginald has cultivated relationships with the business community
while serving on the boards of several organizations such as
the American Red Cross, the Family Investment Trust, the United
Way, St. Louis Community College, Boy Scouts of America, Black
Leadership Roundtable (founder) and on the Small Business Advisory
Council for the FCC. Most notably, Reginald is the retired
President and CEO of Inroads, Inc., a national minority career
development organization.
Reginald has B.A. from Harris-Stowe Teachers College and a
Bachelor of Science-Business from Washington University St.

Alex Ramos
Securities Analyst and Portfolio
Manager
Alex Ramos is Security Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Buford,
Dickson,
Harper & Sparrow, Inc. He also serves on the Investment Committee.
Alex has over 10 years of investment and portfolio management
experience. He started his career at BDHS as an intern in 1998.
Alex’s responsibilities include primary fundamental and
technical research, monitoring investment opportunities, trading
and maintenance of our social responsibility guidelines. Additionally,
he has been an integral part of the ongoing refinement of our
investment process.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington University
St. Louis. |

Karen Marshall
Office/Compliance Manager
Karen Marshall is Office/Compliance Manager for Buford Dickson
Harper & Sparrow, Inc. Karen is responsible for the overall
office management of the firm. Additionally, she assists Chief
Compliance Officer in the regulatory filings with the Securities
and Exchange Commission.
Karen brings over 15 years of management experience from both
the public and private sector.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University
of California at Berkeley, a Masters of Business Administration
from California State University, Hayward and a Bachelor of Science
in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. |

Tracie Gregory
Client Consultant Liaison
Tracie Gregory is Client Consultant Liaison for Buford, Dickson,
Harper & Sparrow, Inc. Tracie works directly with clients
and consultants providing them with monthly and quarterly investment
analyses. Additionally, Tracie focuses on the development and
marketing of BDHS’ large cap and small cap products.
Tracie has been part of the St. Louis investment and banking
community since 1992.
Tracie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College,
Masters of Accounting in Taxation from University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Business Administration from
Webster University. |
